Superoxide Dismutase-1

Superoxide Dismutase-1

  • Protect keratinocyte and fibroblast cells from endogenous and exogenous free radicals
  • Keep healthy condition of cells and skin tissues from environmental damages
  • Stimulating wound healing and ECM synthesis

Rh-Polypeptide-28 also known as Superoxide Dismutase-1 or SOD-1 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the SOD1 gene. SOD1 is one of three human superoxide dismutases. This growth factor plays an important role in antioxidant system to protect human cells from free-radicals. Also, SOD-1 possess strong anti-aging effect and essential roles in wound healing process in combination with other growth factors and cytokines.

Rh-Polypeptide-28 promotes DNA synthesis, stimulate cell proliferation and differentiation associated with wound healing, angiogenesis, tissue regeneration, embryogenesis and CNS development.
